There will no doubt be some last minute merchant scrambling for the next 24 hours or so, but rest assured, it will all get here, and ACS will remain open until 6am October 1. In the meantime there’s PLENTY for everyone to come look at.
Tonight, the Lokapottamus tells me she will be doing a set at the Gothika Mobile Unit at 8pm SLT (spot F on the map, go down the stairs.) and in theory, I’ll be at the mobile unit at 10. Also, turn your music on- we’ve got event appropriate music on MOST of the sim.
Come help us support the NKF. Welcome to the Spiral.
I’ve just released the vendors and gachas in the merchant group. If anyone has any problems with them just let me know. They were tested, but since Ive NEVER had a set go out without an issue, I figure it’s likely I might have screwed up somewhere as usual. 🙂
ACS applications for this year are closed, and I’ve pulled the link.
In the end we have 53 applications here, and room for 40 slots *including* our stores and Gothika , so really, 36 in total. Most people who didn’t get in on the first go will get waitlisted. We OFTEN need waitlist people, so no one panic.
Im plowing through apps now and starting to send stuff out. Fair warning, Im in the middle of a RL project this week so if you need something send me an offline.
So, you know how we usually have applications open for 30 days or until we sell out, whichever comes first?
Due to demand (I’m serious, we’re flooded here.) we’re going to close applications on the 10th. We will *definitely* be sold out(no question.) So if you want to apply to this year’s ACS, please do it sooner rather than later. We didn’t expect this many applications, but we want to make sure everyone who really wanted to apply gets a chance to do it.
Because of how cashout rules have changed in the past year, the charity is required to have their own inworld account in order to cash out directly to their paypal account. However, it’s important to make sure that those accounts are legit, for obvious reasons.
The NKF does have an inworld account – NationalKidneyFoundation Resident. However, because the profile is mostly empty and it didn’t have PIOF, Lokii got in touch with the NKF directly to ask if that account was in fact theirs before we planned to send it any money.
This is the response we received(click on it to embiggen.):
In other words, the NKF has confirmed this account belongs to their charity. It’s legit.
